The company WEDOS Internet, a.s. was founded at the end of 2009 and launched its first service on September 13, 2010. In just 31 months, it became the largest webhosting provider in the Czech Republic. Today we have two data centers of our own and offices from which we drive innovation, development and global growth. Thanks to our technology, modern approach and continuous investment, we provide reliable, affordable and secure services to customers all over the world.

Our first data center is housed in a former civil defense shelter at a strategic location in Hluboká nad Vltavou. Since it opened in 2010, it has undergone several upgrades, into which we have invested over 20 million CZK.

Our second data center is a unique project in which the servers are cooled in an oil bath combined with water cooling. This innovative technology significantly reduces energy consumption while allowing the excess heat to be used to heat the building and the parking lot, with the town’s swimming pool planned next.
