Network Administrator (medior / senior)
As a Network Administrator you will be responsible not only for the complete internal network of VEDOS, but also for the WEDOS Global network, which is spread all over the world. We are looking for someone with a proactive approach and a willingness to learn new things.
Job description Network Administrator
- management and maintenance of internal and global WEDOS network infrastructure
- implementation and management of routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
- configure and manage VLANs and other network services
- working with teams to ensure network security and high availability
- working with technologies from HPE, Cisco, Arista, Juniper
- occasional support in the administration of Linux servers
What we require from the Network Manager
- High school / university education in technical field
- excellent knowledge of Linux, preferred distributions Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS
- Advanced knowledge of OSPF, BGP, VLAN
- Experience with technologies from HPE, Cisco, Arista, Juniper
- basic programming knowledge (e.g. bash, PHP, Java)
- Advanced knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS)
- full-time work (it is not possible to work externally or part-time)
- knowledge of other server technologies
- analytical skills
- communicative knowledge of English language
- Independence
- great appetite for work, dedication
- active attitude and willingness to learn
Advantage
- advanced knowledge of UNIX / Linux server administration
- Advanced knowledge of computer networks and TCP/IP protocol
Salary range (basic salary)
- above-average salary, depending on experience
- plus possible monthly bonuses for tasks performed
- future profit sharing (e.g. up to 140,000 net in 2021 and more in the future)
- after employment wage according to skills and abilities
- pay up to multiples of basic salary
