We are looking for a Linux System Administrator to join our team to install, manage and maintain servers and system infrastructure. The work includes managing Linux systems, web and database servers (Apache, MySQL, PHP), virtualization, backup, storage and hardware management, as well as working with developers, basic scripting (bash, PHP, Java) and technical support for our customers. Job: full-time work in 10-hour shifts (day/night + on-call)

Job Description Linux System Administrator

  • installation, administration and updating of servers (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
  • virtualization, storage and hardware infrastructure management
  • backup, archiving, monitoring and incident handling
  • management and development of the internal IP network
  • basic scripting and automation (bash, PHP, Java)
  • cooperation with programmers and other technicians
  • administration, maintenance and development of containerized applications

Whatwe require from a Linux System Administrator

  • High school / university education in technical field
  • excellent knowledge of Linux, preferred distributions Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS
  • knowledge of Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, MySQL, PHP
  • basic programming knowledge (e.g. bash, PHP, Java)
  • Knowledge of networks (TCP/IP, DNS)
  • knowledge of versioning software (Git)
  • full-time work (it is not possible to work externally or part-time)
  • Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and similar solutions
  • knowledge of other server technologies
  • analytical skills
  • communicative knowledge of English language
  • Independence
  • great appetite for work, dedication
  • active attitude and willingness to learn

Advantage

  • advanced knowledge of UNIX / Linux server administration
  • Experience with virtualization (KVM, Proxmox, etc.)
  • experience with configuration of network elements
  • Experience of Kubernetes and similar solutions

Salary range (basic salary)

  • above-average salary, depending on experience
  • plus possible monthly bonuses for tasks performed
  • future profit sharing (e.g. up to 140,000 net in 2021 and more in the future)
  • after employment wage according to skills and abilities
  • pay up to multiples of basic salary
